Overview

Thank you for your interest in joining our study. We are enrolling patients who have experienced unexplained pregnancy loss. In particular, we are seeking couples who have experienced at least one miscarriage and are willing to donate a DNA sample to our research.

Join the HOPE registry! We are enrolling men, women, and couples who have experienced pregnancy loss. This data will help us find patterns in recurrent pregnancy loss and better understand your journey.  By providing us with your medical history and a saliva sample, we will be able to investigate genes that may be associated with pregnancy loss. 

Once enrolled in this registry, you will have the option to learn about specific studies for which you may be eligible. One study will use genetic sequencing from parents and miscarriage tissue. Couples participating in this study will have the option of receiving the results of their genetic studies. For couples planning a pregnancy, you may be eligible to enroll in our molecular studies.  Financial compensation may be provided to patients participating in specific studies. 

The goal of this study is to find explanations of pregnancy loss and learn how we can predict future pregnancy outcomes. In order to do this, we are very interested in your future pregnancy outcomes as well as your past pregnancy outcomes.  You will have the opportunity to provide updated pregnancy outcomes by contacting us directly or through periodic online surveys.

Participation in this study does not replace or interfere with clinical care and/or recommendations.  We encourage you to proceed with your clinical care and all recommended tests and treatment as part of your clinical care.

If you are not sure which part of the study is best for you, enroll in the HOPE registry and indicate that you are interested in other studies.
